Bank House is one of the most unique hotels in the country, located in a Grade II * listed Georgian town house, on the river in the heart of historic King’s Lynn.

King’s Lynn is an undiscovered gem of architectural and historic significance, said to have more listed buildings than York, and a happy few days can be spent exploring its beautiful squares, cobbled streets and hidden corners.

Bank House makes a perfect base from which to explore glorious North Norfolk, with Royal Sandringham and the great privately owned (but open to the public ) houses of Houghton and Holkham just down the road. The wonderful North Coast beaches, perfect for walks and bird watching, sandcastles and even swimming are a short drive away.

Children are very welcome at Bank House, as are dogs.

BH breakfasts are something special, from a Great British to a croissant and coffee. We welcome non-residents. Perfect for meeting with friends or business meetings.

Children’s at Bank House

We welcome children at Bank House. We offer a quality Children’s menu and children are welcome to stay sharing their parents’ room (under 12s only) for a small extra charge.

From 7th to 21st April children may stay their parent’s room and eat from the children’s menu for free.

Our 12 stunning bedrooms are each individually and stylishly decorated and immensely comfortable with top quality beds and state of the art bathrooms.

Most have river views, the others look out onto wonderful King’s Staithe Square or the rooftops of the old town.
